Method

  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the shortening until the mixture appears crumbly.
  3. Slowly add milk to the dry ingredients, using a fork to combine until a soft dough forms.

  5. Cut out circular shapes using a cookie or biscuit cutter, then place them on the prepared tray and allow them to rest briefly.
