Cheesy Tater Tot and Green Bean Casserole

This hearty casserole combines savory meat, crisp green beans, and crispy tater tots, all smothered in creamy mushroom soup, making it a comforting dish perfect for dinner.

Ingredients

• 1 cup chopped onions
• 1 pound ground beef
• 1/2 pound sausage
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
• 2 cups green beans
• 1 bag tater tots
• to taste salt

Method

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare all your ingredients.
2. In a large skillet, cook diced onions until they are soft and translucent. Add in ground beef and sausage, cooking until both are browned. Drain any excess fat and set the meat mixture aside.
3. In a 9x13-inch baking dish, spread a layer of cream of mushroom soup and top it with green beans. Evenly distribute the cooked meat mixture over the green beans. Finally, place tater tots on top, seasoning lightly with salt.
4. Bake the casserole in the oven for about 30 to 45 minutes, or until it is bubbling and the top is a lovely golden brown.
