Ingredients

  • 2 ½ pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ⅔ cup cayenne pepper sauce
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Method

  1. Start by gathering all necessary ingredients and preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the chicken wings and drizzle them with oil. Use your hands to ensure every piece is well-coated.
  3. Place half of the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook the wings for 25 minutes, flipping them halfway through to achieve a golden-brown and crispy finish. Once done, transfer the wings to a bowl and cover them to keep warm. Repeat with the remaining wings.
  5. While the second batch is cooking, combine hot sauce, melted butter, vinegar, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture and keep it warm.
  6. Once all the wings are cooked, pour the sauce over them and toss to evenly coat.
