Ingredients
2 tablespoons peanut oil
2 cloves garlic
1 pound ground chicken
2 tablespoons sliced chilies
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 cup fresh basil
Method
Start by preheating a wok over high heat until it starts to smoke. Add peanut oil and toss in minced garlic, sautéing for roughly 20 seconds until it turns a golden brown.
Next, add ground chicken to the wok, stirring continuously until it cooks through, crumbles, and loses all pink color, which should take about 2 minutes.
Incorporate sliced chilies, soy sauce, and fish sauce into the mix. Stir-fry for around 15 seconds until the chilies soften. Finally, fold in fresh basil and cook until it wilts.
