Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 slice white bread, cut into cubes
  • 4 slices American cheese OR your choice

Method

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a spacious mixing bowl, thoroughly combine ground beef, eggs, diced tomatoes, green chile peppers, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and bread crumbs.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a 5x9 inch loaf pan, spreading it evenly, and sprinkle cheese on top.
  4. Place the loaf pan in the oven and bake for an hour, or until cooked through.
