1 small fresh red chile pepper, seeded and chopped
½ cup fresh cilantro leaves
½ cup fresh basil
Method
In a mixing bowl, combine fish sauce, fresh lime juice, and a touch of honey. Take a large resealable plastic bag, add the tuna, and pour the mixture over it. Seal the bag and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about an hour.
In a wok, heat two tablespoons of olive oil over high heat until it nearly reaches the smoking point. Add half of the marinated tuna to the hot pan and sauté for a minute, or until it reaches your preferred level of doneness. Move the cooked tuna to a large bowl and repeat the process with the remaining tuna and oil.
Once all the tuna is cooked, gently toss it with diced tomatoes, chopped green onions, sliced red chile pepper, fresh cilantro, and aromatic basil. Serve immediately for a delightful meal.
